Deciding to skip college, I joined the dry cleaning industry right out of high school. I was originally working with Vaile in a store of his in Las Vegas where I learned most of my dry cleaning and finishing skills. We went on to open our Downtown store in late 2019 eventually building the store to be a San Diego powerhouse. Together, we have also helped revolutionize the Shelton Cleaners in Del Mar extending our reach in to North County.

As a 4th generation dry cleaner, my life has been about dry cleaning since I was 17. Right out of high school I started working with my dad opening up dry cleaners across the country. 40 years later and back in my home town of San Diego, we decided to open up Shelton Cleaners in Downtown.

Director of Operations

I grew up in York, Nebraska and worked my way to become the manager at a local fast food restaurant. I learned my management skills and people skills at a busy, always running store. When I had the opportunity to move to San Diego and be in charge of operations at both Shelton Cleaners locations, I immediately took it. Over the last year I have combined my skills learned in Nebraska, as well as new skills learned to oversee the day-to-day operations of both stores and wholesale operations.
